Video editing is the process of manipulating and rearranging video footage to create a new work. This involves tasks such as cutting segments (trimming), re-sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound effects, visual effects, and enhancements to produce a finished video project. It's a crucial part of the post-production process in filmmaking, television production, and digital content creation.

Software Applications Used in Video Editing:

How to Edit Videos Using CapCut

Step 1: Download and Open CapCut

·        Download CapCut from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store if you haven't already.

·        Tap the "+" (New Project) button on the home screen.

·        Select the video clips or photos you want to edit from your gallery.

·        Tap Add to import them into the timeline.

Step 3: Trim and Cut Clips

·        Tap a clip on the timeline to select it.

·        Drag the edges of the clip left or right to trim its length.

·        To cut a clip into parts, position the playhead where you want to split, then tap the Split (scissors) icon.
